Shutdown Manager | Qatar Engineering & Construction Company (Qcon)

The Shutdown Manager shall execute the shutdown as per the:
* Contract type;
* the Client requirements;
* The Shutdown Execution Methodology (Checklists).
* Agreed execution budget, manpower histogram and resources Histogram.
* SD Manager shall coordinate with all the bodies of QCON as supported by MSD Manager. This includes Procurement, Admin, HSE, estimation, P&M, Fab shop, Contracts, etc.
*Subcontracts shall be centralized with MSD Mgr.
*SD Mgr shall maximize his availability for the client and the mobilized team.
* Shall participate in the development of the execution plans and associated reports to QCON & the client as agreed.
*Shall provide performance feedback on all assigned resources including subcontractors, short term, local supply , equipment suppliers, etc.
*Shall balance the resources and the support around the clock to execute the job safely, at the required quality, on time & within budget.
* Shall develop the close out report & QC Dossier.
* Invoice the client as per the contract.
*Enable effective T&D to take place through the shutdown.
*Responsible for selecting the resources, and the decision and tracking of Mob & De-Mob of all allocated resources.The candidate has to have no less than 15 years of SD experience. He must have had leadership role for no less than 5 years.
The candidate has to have extensive experience in the following:
1.Shutdown in Oil & gas plants. Offshore is an advantage
2.Shutdowns that involve at least 500+ persons as a single team, and on 24 hrs basis
3.Dissemination the scope of work into sections handled by team.
4.The execution norms i.e. how many man-hours needed to perform typical shutdown activities
5.Planning Shutdowns and associated resources including subcontractor management and Plant & Machinery management
6.Excellent safety and Quality records with sufficient knowledge in the applicable standards in these areas
