Requirements :
• University Degree.
• Teaching Certificate / Diploma in Education is an advantage.
• 3 Years of experience in teaching is an advantage.
• 3 Years of experience in teaching General Science is an advantage for Science teachers.
• Experience in teaching the American curriculum is an advantage .
• Native or near native accent.
For homeroom teacher :
• Bachelor degree (BA in education will be an advantage as will an English major).
• TESOL/TEFL certificate is an advantage.
• Teaching grades 1 & 2.
• Be able to teach English, Math, Science and Health.
• 3 years of experience in teaching as a homeroom teacher is an advantage.
For Head of Science Department ( Middle and High School ):
• Bachelor Degree in Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology), MA is a plus.
• 10 years teaching experience / 3 years experience as a Head of Department/Coordinator.
Experience in teaching the American curriculum is an advantage .
• Has a proven track record in the teaching of Science which in turn can inspire others.
• Ability to provide leadership in the development & management of the department teachers.
• Be able to supervise the teaching staff & improve the teaching quality of the department.
• Be able to co-ordinate the preparation and development of courses of study, teaching materials, teaching programs and methods of teaching.
• Be able to contribute to the selection for appointment and professional development of teachers including the induction and assessment of new teachers.
