(Junior) Developer (f/m) for Analytical Banking

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Banking is one of the strategic growth markets for SAP. Our ambition in Banking is to grow even faster than SAP over the next years!
During the global financial crisis, the Banking Industry faces some of the most severe changes in history with regard to regulation, reporting and in general the increased complexity of information technology. This ultimately fuels SAP's ambitions and investments as a Standard Software Vendor in this sector.
Over the last years SAP established the Bank Analyzer as a powerful analytical infrastructure covering end-to-end processes of the Banking core business, such as Risk Management, Banking sub-ledger and Accounting. To support our ambitious growth targets we have to complete the Analytical Banking solutions over the next 3 to 4 years:
* On the business side, we will concentrate our development activities for the current and upcoming release cycles on the new analytical regulations according to IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and Basel III
* Technologically, our innovation portfolio will move towards the current IT mega-trends like porting the Banking Platform on the SAP In-Memory database HANA or the enrichment of our Analytical Banking Services with mobile applications for Banking users and their customers
To further develop our solutions and to enrich our team, we are looking for graduates (f/m) who want to apply and expand their knowledge.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Working for Analytical Banking Development within SAP means on the one hand being exposed to cutting edge business influenced by the experiences of the financial crisis. On the other hand, in Banking we deal with demanding technological challenges, such as generic data management, data analytics, high volume data processing, and financial mathematics.
Your tasks depend on the actual backlog in each sprint and comprise the following activities: * Roll-in and analyze business requirements together with our customers
* Conceptual work within the team on the respective business topics
* Design, code and test the new development features each sprint
