Senior Developer / Development Expert (f/m) for ABAP Development Landscapes

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Technical Coordination and Delivery Architecture department within Technology Core Development offers services and guidance to all organizations and programs to implement and to deliver software infrastructures and products to internal and external SAP customers and development partners.
Based on SAP´s product strategy we support the ABAP platform development teams in providing system landscapes and delivery services. Our stakeholders are the Business Suite, future on Premise high performance applications and By Design.
We need you to support our system landscape teams.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
You will be responsible for NetWeaver system landscapes including HANA systems with focus on * Landscape planning in close alignment with development priorities and stakeholders
* Installation, upgrade and operation of complex ABAP development landscapes
* Support the new product standards "Software Lifecycle" and "Support & Operation"
* Drive solution of system problems in close cooperation with DLM and SAP IT
WORK EXPERIENCE
* Excellent know how in systems management and experienced in setup of SAP ABAP systems and landscapes.
* Database and operation system know how (MaxDB and Linux) is welcome
* Experience in project coordination

* Master or Bachelor degree in a technical field

* Working independently though being an excellent team player
* Good project management skills
* Dedicated to project execution
* Good knowledge of ABAP and database technology and of complex development infrastructures
* Fluent in German and English
