Estimation Engineer-Pipelines | STR Global

Working on behalf of a Construction and Engineering company we are seeking to recruit an Estimation Engineer to join this rapidly expanding business.
With phenomenal growth over the last five years an additional role is required to work closely with the senior management team.
This is an opportunity to join once of the key players within the GCC region.
Ideally we are looking for candidates with some 10- 15 years experience in estimating of sewerage/ drainage projects involving very deep excavations and micro tunnelling both involving dewatering.
You will need to be well versed with all types of drainage pipelines including ductile iron pipers, vitrified clay pipes, reinforced concrete pipes, HDPE pipes etc. In addition you will have experience in civil structures related to drainage works such as manholes, access shafts, gullies, pumping stations, RCC tanks etc
You will need to have estimation as your core experience and thorough knowledge of surveying, shop drawings, heavy plant and equipment planning etc. In this role you will need to be capable of handling a site independently.
Degree qualified in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is a prerequisite.
